    Letter to Craven Herald

The congregation of Settle Parish Church would like to thank church members, friends in our community and folk who were visiting the area, who all so kindly supported the church’s recent Coffee Morning in aid of the residents of Grenfell Tower.  As a result of this generosity we are able to send a cheque for £600 to the Parish of St Clement and St James, North Kensington.  The ClementJames Centre ( a sister organisation to the church ) is on ‘the front line’ following the Grenfell Tower fire.  So far the Centre has distributed £14,500 to survivors from the Grenfell area.  A message posted on the The ClementJames website reads “Thank you to everyone who has donated or is volunteering to help us support those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.  Your help and generosity has made us speechless and we are incredibily grateful for all the various offers of help and kindness.”  Thank you for helping us, here in Settle, to support and reach out to those in desperate need.
